Thank you for all who have completed the Solar Eclipse RSVP. There is still opportunity to let us know you are coming. Here is the Slide Deck for Solar Eclipse Safety.
Parents will not need to enter the building to view the eclipse with their child(ren). Signs that day will assist you in navigating the perimeter of the building to join your children. As I am writing this, we have almost 200 parents that have RSVP'd. Our front office staff would not be able to accommodate the volume of individual Raptor Tags. Older students will join younger siblings prior to leaving the building. Grade Levels will exit the building around 1:25 pm. If you wish to send your child to campus with a beach towel or bring one yourself, this would be a option for students that wish to sit. We will begin to bring students back into the building around 1:40 pm. You may NOT check-out your child from the viewing. All student check-out must be documented from the front office. We request that your child finish out the day with us as teachers have developed a day of learning for your Cubs.
The Austin ISD School Health Advisory Counsel is meeting April 17, 2024 at ASID Head Quarters all are invited to attend. Here is the AGENDA.
Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is open. We always seek to place all learners in their best classroom environment. Teachers, Specialized Support Staff, and Administration work together to create student groupings in May. Please use this FORM to share with us your insight about your child(ren).
