Principal's Message
Dear OMS Community,
Next week is April break so there is no school from April 15th - April 19th. The OMS office will be open from Tuesday through Friday from 8:00am - 3:00pm.

Total Solar Eclipse
On Monday, April 8th, a total solar eclipse was visible from many parts of the country. Check out some of our OMS students and faculty who watched the eclipse after school.
Clothing Drive Update
Tana Bernard, Project 351 Ambassador, organized a clothing drive at OMS and her former elementary, the Dawe School. Tana collected and donated 40 bags! In her role as Stoughton's Project 351 Ambassador, Tana is completing a year of service. She is already making a difference in our community!
Classroom Spotlight: Mrs. Boyrazian, Spanish 1B & Portuguese 1B
Throughout the month of March, Mrs. Boyrazian's Spanish 1B and Portuguese 1B classes participated in a music competition in the target language. Each day, Mrs. Boyrazian played a song in Spanish/Portuguese. Students had to listen for the words they could identify. Afterwards, students rated the song and the class decided whether it would move onto the next round. The Spanish songs are part of a national competition and the Portuguese songs are Mrs. Boyrazian's favorites from childhood.
The Portuguese class voted for "Intervalo" by Per7ume e Rui Veloso as the winning song. The Spanish class voted for "Ojitos Rojos" by Grupo Frontera & Ke Personajes as the winners. The brackets for the respective classes are in the pictures below.

Health & Wellness Fair
The second annual Health & Wellness Fair is on Wednesday, April 24th. This event is open to OMS and SHS students as well as all SPS parents/guardians. OMS students that attend and participate in the activities will earn a positive recognition card. If students complete all of the offerings during the fair, they will be able to buy back one day of attendance!
Booster Bash Color Splash!
The day is here! You can now SIGN UP for our OMS Booster Bash Color Splash! Our goal is to raise $15,000 for student enrichment and programming. Creating your page for the fundraiser is easy and free! And if you and your student sign up before kickoff - your student could win a $50 gift card!

Stoughton's Recreation Department is hosting a town-wide beautification day! Join your neighbors to help clean up and beautify our community. Anyone can sign up to volunteer. This is a great way for our students to get involved and give back to our community. Sign up to volunteer!
