5-Essentials for PARENTS
- Parents, please take the opportunity to submit your feedback by completing the 5essentials survey for D303. The Parent Survey is open from January 23, 2024, through March 29, 2024. All responses are confidential and will never be connected to you or your child. To take the survey, visit survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois and select the parent survey. A supplemental report will also be generated if at least 20 percent of a school’s parents complete the survey. Thank you!
The District 303 Board has approved boundary maps for elementary, middle, and high schools. Maps are effective with the 2024-2025 school year beginning this fall. The Board's decision completes a process that began last fall to reduce school overcrowding and help to ensure equitable learning experiences across the District. District 303 had contracted with demographer RSP & Associates to create concept maps based on Board-approved guiding principles and community feedback. Please see the parent notice from Superintendent Gordon to learn more and review the approved maps.

February Tiger Buck Raffle Winners
Congrats to our February Tiger Buck Raffle Winners!
Arrival Time Procedures
- For drop-off, we have a designated drop-off lane available.
- If you prefer to park and drop off your child, please utilize designated parking spots.
- Please refrain from using handicapped spots or dropping off on the street unless you are in the designated drop-off lane. This helps prevent traffic delays and ensures safety for all.
- If you wish to drop off without parking, kindly use the designated drop-off lane.
- Additionally, we kindly ask that you refrain from making U-turns after dropping off your child. Instead, please consider circling the block, which contributes to both safety and smooth traffic flow.
- Your cooperation in making morning arrivals safe is greatly appreciated.
Empower Showcase Cardboard Take Home
Our Empower Showcase was a great success and now we are ready to send the amazing projects home. Many of these projects are quite large and can not go on a bus or be carried home by a walker or bike rider. They may need to be taken home in a car. If your student would like to be the one to take their project home, step 1 is for an adult to fill out this form. The deadline to fill out the form is March 17th. From there, if more than one student wants any project, I will randomly choose from the students who fill out the form. If your student is one who will be taking home a project, I will be in contact with you the week of the 18th. Please contact me with any questions! Amy Dixon: amy.dixon@d303.org
