A Note from the Principal
As we enter the fourth quarter, every day of learning counts more than ever. Here are a few reasons why consistent attendance matters:
Academic Progress: Each day presents valuable opportunities for your child to engage with new concepts, participate in discussions, and solidify their understanding of important topics. Regular attendance ensures they don't miss out on crucial learning experiences.
Preparation for the Future: Developing good attendance habits now sets students up for success in the future. Showing up consistently teaches responsibility and discipline, qualities that will serve your child well in high school, college, and beyond.
Social and Emotional Growth: School isn't just about academics; it's also a place for social interaction and emotional development. Regular attendance allows your child to build relationships with peers and teachers, fostering a sense of belonging and support.
Maximizing Opportunities: Whether it's participating in extracurricular activities, seeking additional help from teachers, or preparing for end-of-year assessments, consistent attendance maximizes your child's opportunities to excel in all aspects of their education.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we encourage you to prioritize attendance whenever possible. If your child is unable to attend school for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible so we can provide support and resources to help them stay on track.
Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. Together, we can ensure they finish the school year strong and set themselves up for success in the future.
Spring Testing Dates
As the school year comes to an end, we will be giving our students the NSCAS (Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment System) test. I am excited for our students to show what they have learned throughout the school year. The testing will occur during their regular class time. It is important you know these dates, so you can best prepare your student. Please try to have your child at school and on time.
