We are the PACK!
Smiley Thoughts
PACK Guardians,
TAG YOU ARE ITTTTT! Enjoy your spring break with your Husky and make sure to scroll through this whole newsletter!
Cheer - The cheer results are in! We appreciate all the Huskies that tried out and we saw some great cheers today. To protect my coaches, they did not even touch the scoresheets or sit by the judges. After all scores were double and triple checked, the following students made the team. This is in order of tryout number and NOT performance rankings.
#'s - 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32
Co-Mascots - Emi Cearnal and Charlie Martinez will be suiting up as the Husky Mascot!
Solar Eclipse - Yes, we are planning for the solar eclipse! We WILL have school on that day and will have the Eclipse glasses for students but they will have to share. We will prep all students ahead of time but do want them to have this experience.
8th grade Dance - The Tyler Legacy Red Pride Dance Audition meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at 6pm in the Tyler Legacy Cafeteria. Auditions will be held April 2-5th at Legacy High School.
***REPEATS***
6th grade guardians! - Nurse Olivares would like me to communicate that some of you will be receiving a letter regarding immunization requirements for the 24-25 school year. Please provide her proof of immunization record, a written medical exemption from your physician that provides the medical reason, or complete the original Exemption Affidavit letter from DSHS (submitting is the first step, you must receive and affidavit and this can take up to six weeks). This will help prevent any delays in your student starting the school year in August. Check with your pediatrician to make sure your students' shot records are up to date. Your student may already have up to date immunizations for Tdap and MCV (required for all incoming 7th graders), but Nurse Olivares needs a copy. Documents can be dropped off at the front office of Hubbard or sent directly to eleanor.olivares@tylerisd.org. Thank you!
Yearbooks! - Your student should have already had a yearbook order form come through, BUT we know middle schoolers lose things. You can order ONLINE but must use the unique Hubbard ID code of 1210324.
