Dear Parents & Carers,
Thank you once again for your continued support and commitment to our school.
The children of Carleton Park are a great credit to the local community and what we aim to achieve at our school. A key focus across school this half term has been our pupils 'knowing and remembering more'. Senior and Subject Leaders have been listening to our children's lived experiences of the school - the children certainly haven't disappointed with their responses...
I would like to share with you some of the results below:
Question - Do you feel safe at Carleton Park?
Response - 100% of the 50 pupils surveyed overwhelmingly do!
Comment - "I always feel safe at school and I know when I speak to adults they listen."
Question - Would you recommend Carleton Park to a friend?
Response - 100% of the 50 pupils surveyed would unreservedly recommend Carleton Park to a friend!
Comment - "I am really proud to come to Carleton Park School, I think we are the best school ever!"
To further support our home and school partnership, here are some questions you may like to ask your children
- Ask your child about the Carleton Park 50 Experiences Passport? What experiences have they stamped so far? What are they looking forward to next?
- Ask your child to tell you about LYFTA? What story worlds have they visited so far? Why is LYFTA such a unique curriculum tool?
- Why is reading important?
- What lunch time clubs have they taken part in so far this year (all children have participated in at least 3)?
Regular updates of our pupils learning can be found on our Twitter page @carletonparksch
Have a fantastic weekend everyone and see you next week!
Best Regards,
Mr Ayre
