Greetings from the Alvin ISD Advanced Academics department,

As members of our vibrant Alvin ISD Gifted and Talented community, your opinions and experiences are invaluable to us. Therefore, we're reaching out to ask for your participation with a survey. Your feedback plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our Alvin ISD G/T community.

We want to celebrate our 8th graders as they close out their junior high chapter and embark on their next educational chapter, high school.

The 8th Grade Formal: Friday, May 17th

Dance tickets will go on sale Monday, May 13th - Friday, May 17th. The cost will not exceed $10. A flyer will be in the E-News next week with the theme and time.

8th Grade Trip: Typhoon Texas

Students who are ELIGIGLE to attend the 8th grade trip will receive a parent letter, dress code/park rules and permission slip on Friday, May 3rd from their 1st period teacher. The trip will be $50 and is NON-REFUNDABLE. It is important their your student be on their best behavior through May 21st.

Our Razorback students and staff are doing great things in and outside the classroom.

Ms. Baldwin hosted her 3rd Parent/Principal Partnership virtually on Friday, April 5th. Unfortnelty, Google Meets does not allow her to record the meeting but please click below to see the presentation shared with parents.

The campus has been piloting a 2 lane car rider line to help move the line faster. Thank you for your patience as we have implemented this process.

On Tuesday, September 26th and Thursday, September 28th, Ms. Baldwin hosted the first Parent/Principal Partnership Meeting for the school year focused on Tools for parents and Title I. If you were unable to attend the meeting, click the picture below to access the presentation.
