Superintendent Update
Dear Nashoba Families,
Next week the school district will be closed for the annual April vacation week. Whether you're celebrating the festivities of Marathon Monday, traveling for a well earned vacation, or just enjoying the comfort of your own home, I hope you have a restful vacation week.
Last week Nashoba Regional High School had a day of school canceled due to a power outage during inclimate weather. As a result, the high school is out of sync with the rest of the district regarding the Massachusetts requirement of 180 days of school. The last day of school for Nashoba Regional High School will be Monday, June 17, 2024. The last day for all other schools will be Friday, June 14, 2024.
We will see you again after vacation week.
Peace,
Kirk Downing

Digital learning is on the rise across NRSD!
Students are leveraging digital tools to create content, enhance their learning experience, and deepen their understanding across different subjects. Traditional displays are being enriched with digital content, incorporating QR codes to expand the scope and effectiveness of student work. Students are creating podcasts, adding narration to their writing, and designing multimedia content to transform the concept of classroom publishing.
Our digital assessments and educator dashboards provide a comprehensive view of student learning, enabling targeted instruction based on individual strengths and areas for improvement.
Educators gained experience and ideas shared in our Pave Your Path II professional learning day to engage students through the integration of academic technology that captures their voices while showcases their creativity.
As Nashoba continues to evolve with digital learning, stay tuned for updates on how our schools are transforming the classroom experience and empowering students to become future innovation leaders!
