From Mrs. Hubbard, Principal
Our Governor Winslow School Community was so excited to view the solar eclipse on April 8. Thanks to the generous donation from our friends at Ventress Memorial Library, we all had glasses to safely observe this rare celestial event.
In support of Earth Day, our school community is focused on the many ways we can conserve resources to help make our world a better place. Our fifth grade Peace Leaders have suggested turning off lights and water when possible, recycling all possible materials, and giving an extra effort to keep our school grounds clean. Our first graders wowed us with their performance, Our Earth, Our Home, and reminded us of the importance of recycling and taking good care of our world.
On behalf of all staff members at GWS, I hope you and your families have a wonderful spring break!
