From the Principal.... Matt Clark
As we approach spring break and reflect on the remarkable progress made by our students at Thompson Middle School, it's clear that this school year has been filled with growth and achievement. From the 6th graders who have grown more comfortable navigating the systems and structures of middle school to the 8th graders eagerly preparing for their transition to high school in just over two months, every student's journey is a testament to their resilience and determination. We're especially proud of our 7th graders, who are diligently preparing to step into leadership roles at Thompson next year. Today, they had the privilege of learning from two esteemed guests, St. Charles Mayor Lora Vitek and Kane County District Attorney Jamie Mosser. I’m thankful these two shared valuable insights on the legislative and executive branches of government and helped students better understand their civic responsibilities.
In addition to these enriching academic experiences, we're excited to announce our first-ever Color Run at TMS, scheduled for April 26th. Tickets are now available, and we'll provide more details upon our return from break. We hope this vibrant and energetic event will bring our school community together for a memorable celebration.
I encourage you and your families to enjoy some well-deserved rest and relaxation over the next week, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back on April 1st.
Roll Thunder!

Principal
