Six Week Progress Reports will be posted on Wednesday, May 1 on the Parent Portal.

Please note that seniors have only 12 more school days. All other students have 15 days. Encourage your students to finish the year strongly.

Round Up is only for students who are not currently enrolled in EDEN CISD. If your child is in Mrs. Ruiz's PreK class, you do not need to attend the Round Up.

STAAR tests will be on the following dates:

Wednesday, May 1--3rd-8th grade Math and Algebra I

PreK-2nd grade will have a picnic and park day at Pfluger Park on May 1.

4th-6th grade will have an AG Day at the Burnes Pavilion on May 10.

Senior graduation trip to San Antonio will be on May 21.

This is the 3rd year we have done the Bulldog Book Challenge and the first time any students have reached the top goal of 125 books. We even had one surpass the goal! Congratulations to each of these students. Keep an eye on these kids as they grow up because READERS ARE LEADERS!!!

FCCLA is very excited about the opportunity to represent Eden, Texas at the national competition in Seattle, Washington in June. There will be a significant cost to get 10 students and their sponsors to that competition. FCCLA will be collecting donations and hosting fundraisers to cover the cost. It will truly take the "whole village" to help our kids accomplish their goal.

The last Monday Funday will be on Monday, April 29 at First Baptist Church Eden. The fun will start at 7:30 and go all day with lunch, snacks, games, and activities. All PreK-5th grade students are invited to come enjoy the FREE FunDay.

Thank you to Dawn, Maggie, and Kathy our School Lunch Heroes. They do a great job serving our students breakfast and lunch every day. They always take the time to interact and talk with students. And the kids absolutely love the fact that they sing happy birthday to every student on their birthday. They are wonderful ladies who make a difference every day.

Elementary Field Day will be Friday, May 3 from 8:00-11:30. Students will eat sack lunches outside at 11:30. PLEASE LET US KNOW BY TUESDAY IF YOUR CHILD WILL NEED A SACK LUNCH ON FRIDAY. (Forms were sent home last week).

Field Day will be a water day. Students need to come prepared to get wet. Please have them wear tennis shoes that will stay securely on their feet as they run through the water events. Elementary students should wear their field day shirts. Students who do not have a field day shirt should wear a t-shirt the same color as their class shirts. Elementary students may wear swimsuits UNDER their t-shirts.

Field Day for 6-9 grade.

From 12:30-3:30 6th-9th grade will go outside for a water day. Students need to wear shoes that will stay securely on their feet. NO WHITE OR LIGHT COLORED SHIRTS THAT WILL BECOME SEE-THROUGH WHEN WET WILL BE PERMITTED.

Teacher Appreciation Week will be May 6-10. If you have a moment, please send a note of appreciation to your child's teachers.
