Preschool/Wellness Class Work Together

Every Monday, the Akron Preschoolers and the MS/HS Wellness Class get together and do something fun and educational. This week they finished up painting their houses, setting out their scarecrows, and planting their lawns in hope the grass will grow tall and the scarecrow will keep the creatures away.
It’s so much fun every week to watch these kids come together.

Fifth and Sixth Grade Band Concert

Ms. Lowry and her fifth and sixth grade band members put on an amazing concert last Thursday evening. The students played several songs they have been practicing and did a great job!

AHS Students to the Capital

Akron High school students in US Government classes had the opportunity to visit the Capitol building and Ralph Carr Justice center on Monday, April 15. Students were able to see both houses in session as well as meet with Rep. Holtorf and see the city from the dome. The class also toured the Justice Center, sitting in the Appeallate chamber and interacting with the educational exhibits before eating lunch on 16th Street Mall. Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible!
