Please note there are various different standardized tests that our students are required by the state to take!
It is so important for our students' attendance to continue to have a priority of being in school. Although the end of the year is coming, we are still learning!
Be sure to check out the WMS Calendar on our WMS Website. We work very hard to keep it up to date!

BCBS Care Van is Coming to WMS Wednesday NEXT WEEK!
Dear Parents or Guardians of Sixth Grade Students,
The Montana State Board of Health has a vaccine requirement for all seventh grade students. All seventh grade students must show proof of having received one dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) vaccine before attendance is allowed. Parents may complete an immunization exemption form for valid medical or religious concerns. These forms may be requested from the school.
Tdap vaccine is considered a booster to the DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis) vaccine that is required for Kindergarten entry. Tdap vaccine provides continued protection to students from three diseases: tetanus (lockjaw), diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). All of these diseases can have very serious consequences.
The BlueCross BlueShield Care Van® will visit Washington Middle School on Wednesday, April 24th, from 0730 -0900. Personal pan pizza certificates will be issued to all participants. This mobile clinic is a community service effort by BlueCross BlueShield of Montana. Staff from the Dawson County Health Department will offer immunizations only to students whose parents complete the enclosed documents. Students who are eligible may receive free vaccines. Please call the Dawson County Health Department (406-377-5213) with any questions or concerns.
Two other vaccines are also recommended for all adolescents at 11-12 years of age: meningococcal vaccine (MCV4) and human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV). Although neither of these vaccines are required for school entry, both will be available during the clinic. You are encouraged to ask your doctor or healthcare provider about these vaccinations.
Here is the Tdap Parent Eligibility and Consent form. Please send this completed form with your student. If you would like a printed copy sent home with your student, please contact our Main Office.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students healthy.
