We can't wait to welcome you beginning Wednesday, Sept. 6. We’ve compiled all of the essential back-to-school information—open houses, school schedules and teacher placements, first day schedules, significant dates, school supplies, meals, bussing and more. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Please email tellus@lkstevens.wednet.edu.
Bus routes available on Monday
Bus routes will be available on Monday, Aug. 28 for first- through 12th-grade students in e-Link on our website, www.lkstevens.wednet.edu/elink.
Since kindergarten and preschool start after the other grades, these routes will be available in early September (before the first day of kindergarten and preschool.)
2023-24 District Calendar & Family Handbook
The 2023-24 District Calendar & Family Handbook was mailed the week of Aug. 14 to families who were enrolled by the end of June. Extra copies, in English and Spanish, will be available at each school and the district office beginning Monday, Aug. 28. PDF copies are available on the district website.
Learn more about school meals for 2023-24
Learn more about meal options for students on the Nutrition Services Department webpages, including breakfast and lunch menus, school meal prices, free and reduced meals, payment options and notifications, meal charging guidelines, school wellness policy, and special dietary needs.
Families are strongly encouraged to apply for school meal benefits in 2023-24 by submitting an application. Applications for the 2023-24 school year are available for download. You may request the application to be mailed directly to your home, or you may obtain a paper copy from your child's school or the district office. If you qualify, it is recommended that you also complete the Parent/Guardian Release form to receive in-district reduced fee benefits. (This institution is an equal opportunity provider.)

Introducing the Foundation for Excellence
We launched our strategic plan—the Foundation for Excellence—in 2013 to guide our work, districtwide. Since that time, the plan has been revitalized to keep pace with our progress, and with the changing needs of our students.
This five-year plan represents a collective effort from our Board of Directors, employees, students, families and community members. To engage these important voices in this process, we used surveys, listening sessions and planning meetings to obtain feedback on our progress, and to identify what enhancements were needed. Meeting with students and staff from each school was the most rewarding part of this process.
We’re proud to present this plan to you, and to partner with you to accomplish our goals. Thank you for joining us in this important work.
