Headteacher - Mr J Ayre
Assistant Headteacher - Mrs S Humphreys
Dear Parents & Carers,
We hope this message finds you well and that you've had a wonderful Easter break?
Firstly, let us extend a thank you for the fantastic start to the Summer term. It has been great to see the enthusiasm and dedication of our pupils as they dove straight back into their learning journey following the Easter break. Your support and encouragement at home really does make a difference, and we're grateful for your partnership in your child's education.
Here are some highlights from this past week:
Year 5 Bikeability Sessions: Our Year 5 students had an exhilarating time participating in 'bikeability' sessions. These hands-on road safety experiences are invaluable, and we're thrilled to see our students engaging with important life skills.
Year 1 Bikeability Sessions Coming Up: Next week, it's our Year 1 children's turn for the bikeability sessions! We're excited to continue fostering a culture of safety and responsibility among our younger children.
Year 4 Overnight Residential: The anticipation is palpable as we gear up for our first-ever Year 4 overnight residential trip to Robin Hood's Bay on the East Coast. This exciting adventure promises to be a fantastic opportunity for our Year 4 class to develop independence, teamwork, and resilience while enjoying coastal activities.
Year 6 SATs Preparation: We couldn't be prouder of our Year 6 pupils for their exemplary attitudes towards the upcoming SATs assessments. Their dedication and focus serve as an inspiration to the entire school community. Keep up the fantastic work!
Uniform Reminder: As mentioned in our previous communication, uniform standards are essential at Carleton Park. The high expectations we uphold contribute significantly to our school's success. We appreciate your continued support in ensuring that our pupils adhere to these standards.
We encourage you to continue fostering a love for learning at home and to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Remember, your involvement in your child's education is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
Wishing you all a fantastic weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone on Monday!
Best Regards,
Mr Ayre
