Dental Care at Heights Wellness Center
Starting April 23, students can receive dental care, including exams, cleanings, sealants, and fluoride applications, at the Heights Wellness Center at Heights High School. View the flyer for more information and upcoming dates. Enrollment form
Blood Drive April 9
The American Red Cross and DECA students will host a blood drive on April 9 from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. in the competition gym at Heights High. Sign up for a donation appointment here. Flyer
Digital Safety Event April 9
The District, CH-UH PTA Council, and 21st Century Programs are hosting part two of the Cell Phone & Online Safety Symposium on April 9 at Heights High. Attendees will hear from parents Tim and Tamia Woods, who founded the Do It For James Foundation after their son James fell victim to online sextortion. The presentation is at 6 p.m. with dinner at 5:30 p.m. RSVP here.
Intradistrict Open Enrollment
The District is accepting applications for Intradistrict Open Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year through April 12. Applicants will be notified of the decision via mail by May 10. Applications are reviewed using the criteria listed here.
SPED Survey
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has launched a survey to learn more about families' involvement in the education of their children with disabilities. You may be eligible to participate if your child has an IEP and receives special education services.

Postsecondary Spotlight
- Look Up To Cleveland is accepting applications from students currently in their sophomore year of high school. The program provides leadership and networking opportunities, and is modeled after Leadership Cleveland. A maximum of two students per high school will be selected to participate. Applications are open on the Cleveland Leadership Center website, due April 30. A summer program is also available.
Community Corner
- The Heights Libraries will host a diaper drive through the month of April. Drop off donations at the Lee Road, Coventry, and University Heights branches. More
- Since 1992, the Reaching Heights annual Spelling Bee has been a community favorite. Up to 25 three-person teams compete for the coveted Bee Trophy and bragging rights for a whole year! This year's Bee is on April 10. Funds raised will go to support the Many Villages Tutoring program and Role Model Speakers program. Learn more and register your team here.
- The Steak Club Foundation, in partnership with The Pack Shack, are seeking volunteers to help create 50,000 shelf stable meals for local nonprofits feeding the hungry and homeless. The "Feed the Funnel Party" is May 24 at Coventry Peace Park. Register here.
- Run like it's recess at the annual Heights Tiger 5K and Fun Run on May 18. Proceeds benefit all CH-UH District schools. Registration and details

If your child is in need of social and/or emotional support, please complete the referral form located in the Quick Links section of their school's page on CHUH.org. Anyone can complete this referral form, and submissions are routed directly to the school social worker and counselors for follow-up.
Our “see something, say something” policy applies to our school community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
