MALCOLM AT MIDNIGHT KICK-OFF
ONE SCHOOL ONE BOOK
Great work this week Webster Wildcats with our One School, One Book Reading Program! Every family should have their copy of Malcolm At Midnight at home.
What happens next? You should follow along on Malcolm’s Reading Map as to which chapters you should be reading. By this coming Monday, April 15th, everyone should have read up to Chapter 5. If you need another reading map, please stop by the Media Center to grab another one. The map is also available online at the Webster School homepage. We will keep reading chapters now until the end of the school year!
If you would prefer to listen to the story, please check out the Webster School homepage under the button “One School, One Book”. Here you will find each chapter read aloud by one of our teachers at Webster School!
Students should also complete Malcolm’s Memories – a trivia game – where students can win prizes! The trivia questions open every Tuesday and close at 3 pm the following Monday. Each week there will be a new set of trivia questions. Winners will be announced every Tuesday at the end of the day.
Malcolm the Rat, our main character, has also been exploring Webster School each evening! Rats are nocturnal! Several students found Malcolm in their locker this week! Pictured, is our 4th grade student Evalynn, after finding Malcolm in her locker! Keep your eyes open to spot where Malcolm might be hiding next!
Next week we will read Chapters 6 – 8. Please enjoy reading this fun chapter book with your family!
