Fourth-grader Mia Barone featured in the National Federation of the Blind's Future Reflections magazine, noting that Future Reflections is a quarterly magazine for parents and teachers of blind children that offers resources and information based on the National Federation of the Blind's positive philosophy of blindness.

With awareness, understanding, access and the right tools and resources people with disabilities can reach their full potential and do just about anything.

• March is New Jersey's Arts in our Schools Month! We are celebrating with an annual exhibit of artworks done by Hilltop students in the Fletcher Gallery of Mendham Public Library. This highlight of students' artworks will be on display during the month of March

Reading and Spelling practice can be incorporated into fun games at home! Boggle is a simple but engaging game that can be adapted for all different types of readers and spellers.

Kindergarten- Identify letters and words with three sounds- cat, sit, cut, bit, bat, etc and write the letters and words.

1st-4th Grade- identify words with three, four, or five sounds and write them!
