Monday - College Shirt and Future U shirt Only with Jeans - do not wear jeans if you do not wear a college shirt or Future U shirt
Tuesday - Regular Dress - Do not wear colored jeans, Jeggings
Wednesday - Mode of Dress optional khakis and polo - No colored jeans or Jeggings
Thursday - Regular Dress - Do not wear colored jeans or Jeggings
Friday - Spirit shirt, Future U shirt, teacher or team shirt with jeans- do not wear jeans of any color or jeggings if you do not wear the correct shirt
Please remember
Do not wear Bermuda shorts or any pants that do not stop mid-calf
No denim skirts on non jean days
Do not wear Leggings at all
No flip-flops

- Ms. Nyan for putting all new groups into Innova to ensure we have current data on students.
- ILT staff for helping with arranging all of the coverage this week for classroom teachers
- The tech committee for getting off to a good start and leading their teams toward technology integration
- Ms. Cortinas for joining the IQ problem solving technology team
- Ms. Dennis and Ms. Martinez for having students on computers in their PK classroom
- Belinda for updating block schedule several times this school year.
- Kelli and Melanie for sending letters out to parents of students that had a class change and updating ESP
- Delia and Tracy for being positive even when parents are difficult and mean
- Ms. Carter had 99% of her students engaged during a walk through from our PASS specialist
- From Ms. Morales: Ms. Quezada has sent three of her smartest and most responsible students to the library to help me shelve books (after they have finished their classwork/project). A big thank you to Ms. Quezada from the bottom of my heart.
- Ms. Williamson and her students were doing a great job in the hallway
- Ms. Galeano for transitioning very quickly to 2nd grade
- Ms. Ghani for being a team player and adjusting to her new room
- Ms. Harris for taking the challenge and moving to 1st grade
- Ms. Upshaw and Ms. DeSauto for another great week of PLC.
- Ms. Nyan, Ms. Amador, Ms. McKenzie, Ms. Jones for hosting our first FLY party. The students enjoyed it!
- Coach Sallee for moving his class into the LGI in order for us to have our FLY party.
Hospitality Race to Dues
It's that time of year again to pay your Hospitality Dues. The First team that has 100% dues turned in will be given the gift of time. Your team will win either and hour early or an hour late ONLY 1 team will win. Here are the rules.
- October 5-9th is the week of the Race.
- You will pay your hospitality dues to your Hospitality Representative.
- Professionals $20.00
- Paraprofessionals $15.00
- PreK/K You will be considered one team.
- Hospitality Representatives you will need to log your teams money on to the Google Spreadsheet. Then turn your money to Ms. Amy Walker.

Levels of Relationships and Influence
Level 1 - Basic Positive Social Interaction
By smiling, waving, high-five, pat on the back, "good to see you", "how's your day?", etc.
Level 2 - Taking a Personal Interest in the Student
By initiating conversations and finding out their interests, family information, pets, favorites, aspirations, nicknames, etc.
Level 3- Identifying, Acknowledging and Encouraging Young People's Gifts and Talents
By conversing with them, observing them, playing with them, looking closely at their work, listening to them, and by words of affirmation, writing notes, attending events, a pat on the back, etc. The first three people to email me will receive a weak of jean passes for next week. You must include your reason for emailing me and 1 thing you will implement from the video.
Level 4 Challenging Young People
By having high expectations, issuing challenges, helping them set goals, using affirmations, checking in with them
Level 5 - Focusing on Building Specific Assets
By developing a plan for building specific external assets and working with them directly
