From the Nurse
Attention 5th grade Parents
Fifth grade students will need to have Tdap & meningitis immunizations going into 6th grade, if they have not already done so. Please start scheduling appointments now. If you have questions, please contact your child's doctor or the school nurse.
Attendance (765) 689-9131
Parents or guardians must call the school attendance line when their child is absent. Call 765-689-9131 and wait to hear Maconaquah Elementary School and then attendance. Contacting the teacher is not the same as reporting it to the attendance line in the front office. When you call the attendance line to report a student's absence, please include why the child is absent, or it will be marked as unexcused. If a child is absent for a medical appointment, it is necessary to bring a doctor's note for the absence to be excused.
ILEARN Testing Schedule
If you are making appoinments for your child, please be sure they do not conflict with their ILEARN testing time. Students will not be permitted to enter or leave once a testing session has started.

Braves of the Week
2nd Grade: Sam Page
Sam is a kind and caring young man who continues to show brave behavior in and out of the classroom. He is very helpful around the classroom and always tells us a good joke. We are thankful that Sam is a part of our class family.
3rd Grade: Malachi Brennan
Malachi is an exceptional student. He is hard working, helpful, respectful to all, and compassionate towards his peers. He will do anything for anyone. He has made some huge academic gains this year, especially in math. His hard work, motivation, and determination have fueled this success. I am very proud of him. Great things are in his future!
4th Grade: Daisy Norton
Daisy is sweet, and bright, and has a great sense of humor. The funny faces that she makes always have us laughing! She is also a very determined and hard worker. She gives full effort to every task set before her and is a role model to her classmates. Keep up the great work Daisy!
5th Grade: Leland Cardwell
Leland is one of the nicest, happiest students that I have had the pleasure of working with. He always wants to do his best. He has a kind heart and is willing to help his peers and teachers whenever that situation arises. I am very proud to have had the opportunity to teach Leland and look forward to hearing good things at the Middle School.
