Superintendent's Student Senate Introduction
Hello Students of Gilbert Public Schools,
My name is Leila Josey, and I am the junior representative in this year’s Student Senate for Gilbert High School. Being a part of the Superintendent’s Student Senate has been a great opportunity that has taught me so much about our district and the schools that make it up. Here at Gilbert High, I participate in different clubs and groups. I am busy in Student Council, Black Student Union and I am also part of the Girls Varsity Basketball team! All the activities I have taken part in have helped me have an enjoyable and positive high school experience by connecting me with other students who share similar interests.
Gilbert Gold celebrates everything that makes Gilbert Public Schools such a special place to be. Gold stories highlight the many accomplishments of our students, employees and community.
