She was selected to sing in a chorus of 90 Middle School Students from across the state. She participated in a full day of rehearsals, and then an evening concert. It is a wonderful honor to be selected to perform in the District Music Festival. Lothrop is very proud of her!
What is Happening in Art Class?
In art the Kindergarteners have been working on mixing colors with paint and practicing drawing their lines and shapes. First and second graders are working on sculpting with clay. They are finishing up their coil snails. The snails are great decorations for around the house or your garden, but be careful they're fragile. Third graders are making spoon holders for their clay assignment, and Fourth graders are sculpting figures and creatures. Fifth grade is finishing up their painting study of artist Dean Russo, by painting bright and colorful animals. Sixth Grade is just getting started in their sculpting unit. Most recently they are sculpting their own creations with clay.

Throughout the program, girls learn to appreciate the beauty of diversity and grow into compassionate, understanding, and open-minded individuals. Become a GOTR coach at Lothrop School and play a vital role in developing these positive relationships.
Our 10-week season begins the week of March 18 and culminates on June 8th with a celebratory 5K event!. Our team will meet twice weekly for 90 minutes each session to connect, move, learn and have FUN! No running or coaching experience is required. Coaches are provided with comprehensive training, a curriculum that maps out each session, supplies and support from GOTRVT for an enriching season. Programs are for girls in 3rd-8th grade.
