SAT Suite of Assessments

Preparation of State Mandated Testing

In anticipation of our Spring State Testing Window of April 8-April 12, all 9th-11th grade students will complete SAT Suite of Assessments digital pre-readiness checks on March 18, March 19, and March 20. These digital checks are necessary for students to take the PSAT 9, PSAT 10, and the SAT with Essay. They will also allow students to review the new digital format, as well as access practice reading, writing, and math questions.

Pre-Readiness Checks

All 9th-11th grade students must bring their school provided Chromebook on their designated day. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT CHROMEBOOKS ARE FULLY CHARGED. We will conduct the readiness checks as scheduled below:

Monday, March 18 - all 9th graders will complete their digital readiness check in the SOCIAL STUDIES HALLWAY during 1st hour. There will be rosters posted outside each room identifying what room students should be in. Students should report directly to the SOCIAL STUDIES HALLWAY to find their assigned testing room. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT REPORT TO THEIR NORMAL 1st hour class.

Tuesday, March 19 - all 10th graders will complete their digital readiness check in the SOCIAL STUDIES HALLWAY during 4th hour. There will be rosters posted outside each room identifying what room students should be in. Students should report directly to the SOCIAL STUDIES HALLWAY to find their assigned testing room. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT REPORT TO THEIR NORMAL 4th hour class.

Wednesday, March 20 - all 11th graders will complete their digital readiness check in the MATH HALLWAY during 2nd hour. There will be rosters posted outside each room identifying what room students should be in. Students should report directly to the MATH HALLWAY to find their assigned testing room. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT REPORT TO THEIR NORMAL 2nd hour class.

The digital readiness checks will allow students to:

Confirm they are an LHS student assigned to the correct assesment and read testing rules;
be provided the option of gaining access to Big Future School;
answer a few demographic questions;
those taking the SAT will be able to send their scores to 4 post-secondary institutions for free;
be provided with items to bring on their designated test day;
as well as be exposed to test previews.

Students that are absent on their designated digital readiness check MUST complete it no later that Friday, April 5, 2024.
