In this session, participants will learn about a comprehensive assessment system including a framework for formative assessments, designing effective performance assessments, and using technology to enhance these assessment practices. Participants will learn strategies and receive tools to use immediately, facilitating smarter work processes to meet the needs of their students. Learn more about Andrew Miller here.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Learn the principles of formative assessment, including setting purpose, checking for understanding, giving feedback and feeding forward.
- Create an error analysis tool for classroom use
- Design a technology-based assessment
- Align technology tools to assessment practices
