• March 18th - 28th - State testing for 3rd and 4th graders
• March 21st - Parent Teacher Conferences 4:00 - 7:15 PM
• March 26th - Parent Teacher Conferences 4:00 - 7:15 PM
• March 29th - April 7th - Spring Break

Mr. Wingo, our social worker, visited kindergarten classrooms to sing "Green Eggs and Ham" with the class. He brought them each a shaker so they could make music with him. We appreciate all Mr. Wingo does for Steele School!!

Our PTO movie night was a success! We had 114 students in attendance along with their families. The next day at school we gave away 15 copies of Super Mario Bros. Thank you for coming out for the movie night!

We are working on doing more writing at Steele. This Steele Star came down to read me his story, show me his beautiful handwriting and the illustration he drew. I love when students share their learning with me!

Illinois Assessment of Readiness for 3rd and 4th graders runs from March 18th - March 28th. Students will be taking one test per day. Please see the links below about upcoming IAR State Assessments. Please ensure that your students are getting plenty of rest before the nights of these assessments. We look forward to our students showing all that they have learned on these assessments!
