The Weekly Update #4
February 20th, 2024

Message From the Principal...
And just like that, March is here! Stowell Elementary is gearing up for an exciting spring full of learning. Look for our Bags 4 Bucks PTO fundraiser soon. Also, third quarter will be ending in a few weeks, and with the coming of the fourth quarter this month comes the end of the year oh so soon. If you have any questions about your child's growth or learning as we head towards the end of the year, please send us a message or feel free to call anytime. Thanks for being a part of the Stowell Family with us all, and happy March!
Message from the Counselor...
As the weather gets warmer and we are getting outdoors more often for recess, we sometimes need reminders about getting along with others, what it means to be a good friend, and to try our best to be kind at all times to all people. First, second and third grade classroom lessons will focus on topics such as this. Our kindergartners are feeling the 3rd quarter wiggles! We will discuss and practice ignoring distractions in our kindergarten classrooms. We've had a delayed, slow start with our Too Good for Drugs curriculum in our fourth and fifth grade classrooms. Each of these classrooms has now had their first lesson. With our upcoming lesson in this curriculum, we'll discuss responsible decision making.
