Reading Month Dress-up Days - Dress Like a Pirate!

March is Reading Month officially begins today! New this year, Hemlock Elementary’s very own PTO will raise funds that will directly benefit our kindergarten and young 5’s students and staff. Students in kindergarten and Y5’s can begin logging their minutes read today through March 20th. February 29th wraps this year's Kids Heart Challenge and American Heart Challenge. It's not too late to register and complete Finns Mission for a chance to win Superbowl 2025 tickets. And here is more exciting news! The Detroit Pistons are also working with the American Heart Association and the Kids Heart Challenge. On March 1st all students will receive a complimentary ticket with the purchase of an additional ticket. Click HERE for ticket pricing and details. Students who attend will also be able to throw a free throw shot at the end of the game.
