Chapter 2: Number Bonds!
Your child will be sent home with a study guide and some worksheets that they can practice in order to study for the test. Please review these IMPORTANT concepts, as they are a crucial foundation into our next chapter: addition. The students need to understand how to break apart a whole into two or more parts. Please take the time to help your child review these skills we have been practicing in class. Also, I have uploaded some PDF's on FSAConnect if you need additional resources. We will be moving on to Chapter 3: Addition Facts to 10
In this chapter, your child will learn basic addition facts up to 10. Some skills your child will practice are:
- counting on and using number bonds to add
- telling addition stories
- writing and solving addition sentences
- solving real-world problems
***The Students must understand number bonds in order to get a firm grasp on adding number to 10***
