The OMS Community Newsletter
Week of February 12 - 16, 2024
Principal's Message
Dear OMS Community,
Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. Just as your child’s report card shows how they are doing in different subjects, the school’s report card is designed to show families how our school is doing in different areas. Please check your email for an update regarding our school's and district's report card.
As a reminder, February break is next week (2/19 - 2/23) so there is no school. I hope you all enjoy the break and time with your families!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Crowley

STUCO Door Decorating Contest
To celebrate Black History Month this February, the OMS Student Council organized a school-wide door decorating contest to honor individuals, groups, and organizations who have helped pave the way for equality and diversity in America. Each homeroom was assigned an individual/group and a brief summary of their accomplishments/ achievements. Using the information provided, and any additional research students wish to complete, homerooms planned out a design for their door. All classrooms and staff rooms/offices were encouraged to participate. Doors were judged on the criteria of creativity, neatness, and historical information provided. All designs went up on the classroom doors on Friday, February 2nd and the winners were announced on Monday, February 5th.
