Eye on FISD
April 5, 2024
From Dr. Gilstrap
The school year is quickly coming to an end, and I am proud of all that our students have accomplished this 2023-2024. I am also grateful to see our families at our school events, celebrating our students and staff. We are gearing up to finish the year strong, and we hope that our community continues to support our kids.
Safety and security are our top priority. I want to thank our community for the efforts helping us keep our students and staff safe. Please continue to talk to your children about school safety and the importance of reporting suspicious activity. If you see something, say something.

Look who's Floresville Fab!
The Transportation Department was nominated by District Social Worker Patrick Garcez. Here's what he had to say:
"I wanted to take the time to share my appreciation for the Transportation Department. They have done an outstanding job coordinating transportation for our special program students. Including a recent out of district McKinney-Vento request.
In my many conversations with Region 20, they have mentioned what a great job our Transportation team has done. I have never worked in a district with a Transportation team this supportive.
A huge thank you to you and your team, Gabriel Ramirez!"
