Spring is Here! What an awesome opportunitiy to get outside and enjoy this weather! Some wonderful ideas for you and your students include: starting a garden, planting wildflowers, creating a bird feeder with pinecones, going on a nature walk, and more!
We have a Clothing Bin available in our overflow parking lot. If you are planning any Spring Cleaning, consider donating your textile materials there. Our school receives a donation per pound!
May is full of celebratroy activities for our students who have made amazing achievements in their learning this year! Field Trips and special events have been planned by our wonderful staff members - check in with your student's teacher to find out what's happening!
We will honor and celebrate our outstanding staff during Teacher Appreciation Week May 6-10. Consider having your Little Eagle write them a note of thanks during that week! We plan to shower our staff with appreciation all week long!
I cannot believe that we are almost done with another school year! Your Little Eagle will wrap up their iReady testing and complete their final literacy assessments. I am so proud of their hard work this year, and I look forward to supporting their journey for years to come!
If you are interested in our Summer Camps this year, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Aguilera to get them enrolled! What a great way to stay in contact with friends and keep them fresh on their learning!
Wishing you all a wonderful May! Enjoy the sunshine!

Counselor Corner
Hi Little Eagle Families!
In May we will be celebrating so many things as we near the end of the year. Keep an eye out for Soaring Eagle nomination letters to come home, two students from each class will receive invites.
All small groups have come to an end. Students have done a great job strengthening those social-emotional skills and gaining new tools to support success morning forward. If your student was involved in small group and you have any questions please feel free to reach out.
Also, I will be meeting with each student to check in to see how their year has gone. Through this process, I will also ask if there are ways to support them / their families during the summer.
Career Day
Thank you to all our parents and community members who joined us for another successful Career Day! Students learned about many new exciting careers and what those paths to get to where they are looked like. It was a morning filled with fun, learning and excitement!

It's time to think about getting outdoors and enjoying the warm sunshine. Continue to read below for information to help protect you and your family.
TICKS: PREVENT - CHECK - REMOVE
The best way to protect yourself and your family from ticks is to PREVENT them from being on your body by:
- Wearing tick repellent clothing and shoes
- Tucking long pants into socks
- Having long sleeves
- Using insect repellent
- Staying to the center of paths when walking or hiking
