Third Grade Weekly Newsletter

April is a busy month in third grade. We have MCA Testing on April 18 and 25. It will be very important that the kids get good rest before these tests and feeling well. We will be introducing them to the structure of the test in a couple of weeks. We have worked hard all year to do our best on these tests, but always remember it is one test, on one day, in third grade.

The Spring Concert is at 1:30p.m. on April 12th.

Important Dates:

Grandparents Day: April 26th at 1:30p.m.

May 15: Activities Day

May 21: Eagle Center Field Trip

May 28: Hormel Nature Center and Austin YMCA Aquatic Center Field Trip

• Our class has lunch very late. Please be sure to send a good, healthy snack with your child. We have a lot of hungry kids by late morning.
• Our classes go outside for recess and breaks. As the weather gets chillier, please be sure your child has appropriate outdoor clothing.
