Parent Graduation Meeting
The Future Looks Bright for Edward Lai
International Baccalaureate student Edward Lai has embarked on an incredible academic journey here at Rowland High School. His hard work is a testament to his dedication to his academic pursuits. Recently Edward received acceptance letters from some of the most prestigious universities in the United States which include Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Amherst, Williams, and Boston University. Each acceptance represents not only a validation of his academic prowess but also opens doors to a world of opportunities and possibilities.
California Academic Octathlon Virtual Competition
Rowland High School is proud to announce the remarkable achievement of our Academic Decathlon Team at the California Academic Octathlon Virtual Competition held on March 9, 2024. Demonstrating their academic prowess and dedication, the team secured a commendable 3rd place finish. The California Academic Octathlon, known for its rigorous assessment of high school students' knowledge across eight subjects, witnessed our team's remarkable achievement of 10 individual medals, showcasing the result of their hard work and commitment.
Highlighting individual accomplishments, Jeremy Tan earned a notable collection of medals, including bronze in essay and art, silver in economics and music, and gold in literature and mathematics, also receiving a gold medal for being the highest-scoring decathlete in the competition. Kai Pablo was recognized with a bronze medal for his essay and a silver medal for literature, while Melissa Camargo was awarded a silver medal for her essay. The team, consisting of Jeremy Tan, Celina Poon, Sabrina Su, Kai Pablo, Andy Huang, Matthew Bragais, and Melissa Camargo, exemplifies academic excellence. Football is getting ready for the 2024 Season
Your 2024 Football team is in phase 2 of their offseason program. Right now we are practicing Monday Nights in the stadium, lifting weights during 6th Period, and conducting team workouts on Friday's at 6 a.m. Our Raiders are preparing their mindsets and bodies for a great 2024 season. We are emphasizing our motto of "The Gold Standard" which we define as having high expectations for ourselves as individuals and for our team collectively. We are excited to share our upcoming season with our student body, faculty, families, and alumni.
Solar Eclipse Captured by a Student
Our talented Samuel Jeong has skillfully captured breathtaking images of the recent solar eclipse. He brought to life the awe-inspiring beauty of this celestial event. His work not only documents the eclipse but also serves as a reminder of the profound wonder and majesty of the universe.

Graduation Tickets
You can start purchasing your graduation tickets now! Each senior can purchase up to 6 tickets for $5.00 each in the ASB Office. Tickets will be on sale until Friday, May 24, 2024. You can request additional tickets by being placed on a waiting list by Friday, May 24, 2024. If additional tickets are available, seniors on the waiting list can start purchasing additional tickets on Monday, June 3, 2024. Not all requests will be granted.
Commencement tickets will be distributed on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 7:30 am in front of the school or as the student departs from the Grad Nite bus. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Class of 2024 Opportunity
Would you like to be considered to have your photo displayed on a street light pole throughout the community within the RUSD boundaries? A limited number of seniors will be randomly selected that will represent all post-high school options: trade/career schools, 2-year community colleges, 4-year-colleges and the Military.
Please complete the interest form by Wednesday, April 17th if you would like to be considered. If you are selected, you will be contacted through your school email to schedule a photo shoot at Rowland High School.
Mt. SAC Dual Enrollment Program for current 9th, 10th, & 11th graders
Attention 10th, 11th and 12th graders! Interested in taking a FREE college class here on campus? There's still seats available for Music 15 for Fall '24 semester through their Dual Enrollment program:
