Message from the Principal
JAJHS Families,
It was a short but busy week around JAJHS!
We are excited to help our 8th graders begin their transition to JAHS! They are traveling Monday to the high school to begin learning about the building, class options, and the scheduling process. They will begin meeting with the high school counselor next week to prepare for scheduling. Please see the information below from Mr. Hayes about welcoming our 8th graders.
Next week in Advisory, our 7th graders will also spend some time learning about mental health, signs of depression, and ways to help friends in challenging situations. Please see the message below about Erika’s Lighthouse for details.
Please take a few minutes to read through the information below about events and activities around JAJHS!
Sincerely,
Mr. Malany
Principal

Medications at School
Sometimes parents ask that school personnel administer medication to their child during the school day. When this is necessary, we require written permission and instructions from the parent and in some instances from the doctor. The required form must be completed and turned in to the junior high office with the medication to be administered.
