This handout has been adopted/adjusted to meet JCPS requirements to answer the questions, “When can I go to school?” and “When do I have to stay home?” Please feel free to share this document as you need to best meet the needs of your school community.

Arrival/Dismissal Reminders

• Latest pick up time for students is 3:00 pm. Dismissing students after 3:00 pm causes disruption to our afternoon processes and procedures and impacts our ability to keep everyone safe through the dismissal process.
• Please remember that our campus is a drug-free/smoke-free environment. This includes our parking lot and car rider line. Please refrain from smoking and/or vaping while waiting in line for your child.
• Please refrain from using your cell phone while in the car rider line. There are a lot of moving parts to our arrival and dismissal processes and we want to make sure everyone remains safe.

It's extremely important that you have the JCPS app because it's where we send out reminders, updates, important information, and you can connect directly to your child's teachers, Ms. Barnes or Ms. Willoughby.

Movie Night

Join us for our Family Movie Night on March 22nd from 7:30 - 9:30. We will be showing Elemental (our student's pick). Admission is free and we will have concessions and food trucks available to purchase food. All are welcome, but each student must be supervised!

School Store Fundraiser

We have kicked off our School store Fundraiser! We have already made over $200 for our school in the first week! All your student has to do to win a prize is to have a parent register and send 6 emails to family and friends. We are not seeking direct donations. To earn funds for our school, you can shop hundreds of your regular retailers and a small percentage goes to our school!

Spirit Night

Our March Spirit Night will be Monday March 4th at City Barbeque from 11:00-8:00pm Please use the code FundA for 20% of your purchase to come back to West Clayton Elementary School PTA!
