Principal Report:
Congratulations to our 3rd & 4th grade students for completing the M-Step this week! I am so thankful for the hard work of our students and our teachers to do their very best for this important assessment. Next week, 5th grade students will take their tests as well. We wish all students the very best as they complete the M-Step!
As we look forward to the last six weeks of school, we are so excited to celebrate all the learning that has happened this school year. Many classes have field trips planned to apply their learning and other experiences to celebrate the school year. Our PTA has two skating parties planned for April that we are so excited about! Also, we invite all families to save the date for our May 22nd 150th Anniversary Celebration! This event will be from 6-7:30pm. We can't wait to share more details with families soon.
And please remember to always practice safe driving as the weather warms up and the sun shines! We want to keep all our families safe as they enter our school zone areas on Lakewood and also in our parking lots. Thank you for being part of keeping all our kids safe!
Thank you and Go WO!

Physical Wellness with Ms. Krause:
We are finishing up one of my favorite units, jump rope. The students are working towards getting their ninja belts! I am so impressed with how quickly the younger grades learned to turn the rope and get their first jump! The older grades have shown off some tricks and also gotten many consecutive jumps in a row, as high as 250 jumps! I encourage you to ask your child how many jumps they got and if you have a jump rope at home to have them show off their skills. The next few weeks of April we will be playing a throwing game. I hope you all got outside this week and enjoyed the warm weather! Go WO!
