Copper Beech Parent Update
Week of April 8, 2024
Principal's Message
Dear Copper Beech Family,
This week, students were busy learning and having fun. Students have been engaged in learning about the solar eclipse this past week, and teachers have been stressing the importance of safety during the eclipse viewing. We are looking forward to sharing the special moment of viewing the eclipse together with our students. If you are planning to keep your child with you to view the eclipse together, we wish you a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to hear all about it when they come back to school on Tuesday. We know that this will be a very special memory that our students will cherish for years to come.
Enjoy the sunshine this weekend!
Best,
Ms. Stokes

Final Results from our 2024 Fun Run!
The PTA is excited to share the final results of the Fun Run! We raised over $57,000 for Copper Beech, which is $6,000 more than last year.
This enables the PTA to:
- Reduce the yearbook from $30 to $25 a student
- Cover the operating expenses of the 2024-25 PTA budget
- Eliminate any further fundraising since we hit our goal
- Provide all instructional staff with at least $150 towards their classroom expenses
- Purchase a Spirit Wear T-shirt for each student
- Create a fun experience and memory for students, families and staff
Thank you to everyone for your support!

Fun at the Beech!
Sometimes students and teachers just want to have fun! Students in Ms. Kocent's classroom wanted to play a little prank on their former teacher, Ms. Poole. They developed a creative plan and Ms. Poole definitely fell for it! Their plan was a success!
