Dear Vista Families,
We have a busy week next week. It is spring conference time. If you haven't scheduled your conference, please reach out to your child's teacher. Due to conferences, students will have a dismissal time of 1:00pm all week.
Our Book Fair is scheduled next week as well and will be opened right after school. On Thursday, our book fair will be open later and we will have an evening reading program with our librarian, Ms. Annie. Story time will begin at 6:00pm on Thursday, March 21st.
On Wednesday, March 20th we have a special presentation on Mindful Parenting at 5:00pm. I would also like to personally invite you to Vista's Parent Workshop led by our own Ms. Flowers. Within this workshop, she will address emotional intelligence and how to build resiliency with your child. All are invited! Please see the flier below for more information.
Our Walk -a -thon fundraising event will take place on March 29th. I am looking forward to becoming a giant sundae as an incentive for students who raise just $20.00 for the event. The more participants we have at the $20.00 mark, the messier I get! You can also purchase a Juice it Up drink for your child to enjoy after the walk-a-thon.
