HIVE Society

Hello Hornet Families,

March and April present to be a busy time for schools. At the HIVE, we've made it our goal to boost student's esteem and empower their abilities to perform not only academically but socially as well. I've had the privilege of meeting with each student to gain their perspective about the HIVE, school in general and their goals. Each conversation was very positive and I'm humbled by each student's perspective.

This time of year students participate in District and State Testing. This is the students time to shine and show what they know. PSAT/SAT is implemented on April 10th, ACT for Juniors is given April 11th and finally Social Studies & Science M-STEP for 8th grade and Juniors will be given on April 16th and 17th. Overall, the students seem to be more than willing to accept challenges and try their best on the state assessments. The staff at the HIVE is proud of your child.

As we wrap up the year, be expecting information for a parent night. We will send out information with a date and time so students can showcase their work and share what has empowered them to do well.

The HIVE would like to give a HUGE Thank you to Sunrise Marathon in town, Charlie Brown for donating drink coupons to help out our PBIS rewards. We truly appreciate you. Thank you Mr. Benoit for returning pop bottles. The money for students is appreciated.
