From the Maple Grove PTO
Through fundraising efforts and PTO membership dues, the Maple Grove PTO is able to offer grants in the spring and fall to the teachers here at Maple Grove. These grants help the teachers create a more engaging and exciting atmosphere for students. This fall the PTO was able to provide the following to teachers at Maple Grove:
Lycra Swing for sensory integration to assist students in Special Education
Soundbar to better assist students in hearing videos and activities projected from the computer
Visual timers to help students stay on task and focused better
Frames to help make math curriculum more fun and engaging
Books for classroom libraries that interest students and are at the correct reading level
Spriographs for the Art Department
Novel Effect subscription for the library to increase storytime engagement and interest by students
