R-PTLE Weekly Family Communication

Dear Families,

Short and Sweet this week. We will hit our teaching and learning hard for 3 1/2 days this week. Then, have a safe and enjoyable Spring Break!

I will send a newsletter out on Thursday after our 1/2 day, then resend it out on Sunday 4-7-24.

1/2 day of school on Thursday, NOON DISMISSAL!

NO SCHOOL on Friday!

Succeed Today!

Many know her from greeting our families as they enter the office. This year, Mrs. Heather moved into the MEC chair. Mrs. Heather has been working with our students to improve their reading. This Month, she received the honor of being awarded the MEC AmeriCorps Member of the Month for exceptional contributions and achievements!

We are SO lucky to have Mrs. Heather here working with our students!

Kindergarten Registration is permanently open. Please walk in the office during school hours (3175 Fifth St. TL, 49457) or call in at 231-719-3190. You can schedule an appointment or walk in. We have a small packet for you to fill out.

We also need proof of residency (something like a bill addressed to your home), copy of license, child's birth certificate and immunity records. Please help us spread the word to everyone in the area with a Kindergarten or Discovery Kindergarten aged student.

Book Fair going on this week. Kids will be able to purchase books during the day starting on Wednesday! Will be open during P-T Conferences...

What is Courage?

Courage is the ability and strength to face something that may be difficult or challenging. Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather perseverance in the presence of fear and the willingness to stand up for what is right or to try something new even though it may be uncomfortable or uncertain.

Updating your demographics in your parent portal is so critical to ensure effective communication, safety, staying informed, Technology User Agreement, and Student Handbook information. Please follow the steps provided in the PDF below. If you already have a portal account the demographic update is fairly simple and straight forward. If you are new and need to create an account follow the steps below. Please call the office for assistance.
