Atlas' Canvas
Hello everyone! Atlas Here!
Thank you all who attended our CRAVE Winterfest event! I hope you all had a wonderful time with our Rainbow sisters in other jurisdictions!
I also hope to see you at the Sock Hop in February! It’s going to be 50s themed, and you’ll want to dress to impress because we will have a best dressed competition sometime during the event! Before the Hop we will also have a Pledge School of Instruction, so if you know a Pledge girl, make sure to invite her!
We are doing so well visiting different lodges of our legacy! We only need to visit 25 more lodges to reach our goal of visiting all the lodges where Rainbow once stood!
A HUGE round of applause to Summerville, Greenwood, and Newport assemblies for recently initiating (or about to initiate) new girls into Rainbow!
It is a new year! I hope this year brings great joy and comfort to all of you. It is also the middle of our Grand Year! And while we still have a lot more fun and family to experience, it’s important to look back on this past year and see how far we’ve grown– and how much further we can grow.
Remember, you are God’s Masterpiece.
~Atlas and Ashley <3
Notes from the Heart
Hello South Carolina Rainbow Family!
I hope that 2024 began well for you and will be a year of growth and prosperity for South Carolina Rainbow. I was happy to attend a Rainbow initiation on January 13 to welcome three new members into Greenwood Assembly and one new member into Newport Assembly. As always, I told these new members about their Rainbow birthday.
I explained that we celebrate two birthdays: the one on which they were born into their families and the one on which they are born into our Rainbow Family. One of our Grand Worthy Advisor’s watchwords is Family. Our ritual stresses the importance of family in the number of times parents are mentioned. Our lesson of Love encourages us to love every member of our family. Being a part of our Rainbow Family and the larger Masonic Family is important, too. We not only have fun and participate in meetings, fund-raisers, and service projects, but we also share other things. We share the joys of accomplishments as well as anguish of disappointments and sorrows. We encourage each other when we struggle and lend a helping hand when we can.
Our lesson of Fidelity teaches us that others need to be able to have confidence in us.
It teaches us to be truthful, to keep our promises, and to be loyal to each other. Being a
Rainbow Sister means being there for each other though the good times and the bad.
I can think of many times that I have seen active members, Majority members, and adult
workers of Rainbow show that kind of fidelity to each other. I have also been the
recipient of assistance from Master Masons when I've needed it. Being a part of this
Fraternal Family is one of the greatest blessings we can have. Let’s be sure to share it
with others by bringing them into this great Family!
Blessed by being in this Family,
Mrs. Dedra

Supreme Assembly 2024
The Road leads to Hampton, VA for 2024!
If you start in October bringing $50 to each meeting through May and depositing it into your Assembly account, you would have $800 saved for the trip. Or if you start now and bring $40 and save through the first meeting in July you will also have $800 towards going to Supreme Assembly. Of course, you could also have multi-family yard sales or car washes to help raise the money too.
We would love as many as possible to go to Supreme and we would love to have a Ritual Team to participate! So start saving money and working on your memory work!

What a great night with the Rainbow Girls and Pledge girls. They started the evening off helping the Masons with the Smoke at the lodge mail out. We then went on to have our Pledge meeting and then a Rainbow Meeting. We had two new Pledge girls with us tonight and we read three applications for new Rainbow girls. We also had our Grand Worthy Advisor Ashley with us, and our Grand Deputy Valerie.
Our Parents and Masons are the key to what makes our assembly shine!
Graffiti from Greenwood
January was a month of planning and practicing for Greenwood #33. We were excited to add three new girls to our group on January 13th: Caroline L., TaJayah W., and Jackie R. Planning included ways to sell chocolate for our GWA and set up fundraisers for our own assembly. We will be selling Hash during the month of February with a delivery date to be determined. The girls also came up with the idea to create crafts (earrings, crochet items, etc.) for a booth at the Uptown Greenwood on March 23rd. We are looking forward to the Sock Hop in February.
Watercolors from West Columbia
We are looking forward to our meeting on January 23. We have lots to talk about and plans to make.

SCAMM - South Carolina Association of Majority Members
SCAMM is in the beginning stages of a project to assist with funds for scholarships. SCAMM is asking for donations of men’s button-down shirts that can be turned into aprons to keep food off of the young ladies' beautiful gowns. If you have a shirt from someone special, just let us know when the shirt is turned in so we can get that specific apron back to them. We will be gladly accepting men’s button-down shirts at the next few jurisdictional get-togethers like the school of instruction. The aprons will go on sale as soon as the finished products have been created. Please feel free to reach out to Lynn Carter or Heather Kamphaus for any questions or concerns.
"Sunday Comics"
This year we are visiting all of our assemblies where we currently meet or where we use to meet! We have a total of 137 visits by girls, Majority Members, and Past Mother Advisors in some cases, to 39 Assemblies!
Originally we planned on doing 70 visits towards our legacy but amazingly surpassed the 70 in no time at all! Then we were going to do 70 visits for our legacy and 70 for our future but as you see we have almost accomplished that as well! You are AWESOME! Now each color represents 8 Assemblies to get all the colors for our graphic above! So please help us finish visiting all of our Legacy Assemblies!
We still need to visit the following and grab a photo: Friendship #1 in Williston, Marion #4 in Marion, Florence #5 in Florence, Anderson #7 in Anderson, Columbia #10 (We will be doing our Rainbow Road Trip at this one!), Brewerton #12 in Ware Shoals, Beaufort #13 in Beaufort, Barwell #17 in Barnwell, Lake City #18 in Scranton, Wagener #22 in Wagener, Kingstree # 30 in Kingstree, Whitmire # 31 in Whitmire, Hopewell #35 in Jackson, Rose Croix #41 in Spartanburg, Oconee #49 in Walhalla, and Socastee/Hope #53 in Murrells Inlet
We still need photos of: Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Goose Creek, Dentsville, and Harmony. I believe in us :D!!
Yellow Circles are Assemblies that need to be visited, Green Circles are current assemblies, and Stars are Assemblies that have been visited and the color corresponds to the list above
What Does your Bingo Board look like?
How are you doing filling in spaces? Do any of our Assemblies have Bingos yet? Do any of the girls have a Bingo yet? Can't wait to hear!
