Thank you to our families for your support in encouraging your child to read during our spring reading challenge. Here are our results.

Total Minutes Read:

TK- 6,460 minutes

Kindergarten- 8,882 minutes

First Grade- 21,122 minutes

Second Grade- 31,413 minutes

School Grand Total= 67,877 minutes

These will be sent home in boomerangs on Friday, April 12. We encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher with questions or concerns.

Dental Day at Beacon

The dentist is coming to school on May 8!

Open Enrollment Coming Soon

Open enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year begins April 22, 2024. A link will be available on the Montesano School District website at www.monteschools.org to enroll NEW students using the Skyward Family Access system. Proof of age, immunization records, and proof of residency are required at the time of enrollment for all students. Students already attending Montesano schools do not need to re-enroll.

Save the Date! Parent Input Week

Parent input week is scheduled for April 22 – April 26 for both Beacon Elementary and Simpson Elementary. If you would like to provide input regarding your child's learning style or needs for the upcoming school year, please complete one of the forms below during parent input week. All submissions will be taken into consideration by the principals.
