THE STRENGTH OF THE WOLF IS ITS PACK
March 8, 2024
Dear Wasco Families,
We are thrilled to announce some exciting upcoming events that celebrate the hard work of our students and foster a deeper appreciation for the time and talents within our learning community. These events are not only an opportunity to showcase the achievements of our students but also provide time for families and students to come together as a community to support and uplift one another.
In the picture above you can see our music teacher, Miss Zima, practicing speaking lines with a third-grade student as they prepare for their upcoming music showcase, titled “It's a Musical World.” Also, our fifth grade will be hosting a Fine Arts Night, demonstrating the learning from both our Music and Art Department. This time of the year goes by fast with summative assessments and planning for next year, but these events and celebrations help us pause and reflect on the growth of our students!
Thank you for your attention to our weekly parent news, as there will be more events coming soon.
Kind Regards,
Principal Brennan

Community News / Resources
Wasco will have a box in the office!
The District 303 Board has approved boundary maps for elementary, middle, and high schools. Maps are effective with the 2024-2025 school year beginning this fall. The Board's decision completes a process that began last fall to reduce school overcrowding and help to ensure equitable learning experiences across the District. District 303 had contracted with demographer RSP & Associates to create concept maps based on Board-approved guiding principles and community feedback. Please see the parent notice from Superintendent Gordon to learn more and review the approved maps.
Early Release
One Wednesday per month, students will have an early release and dismissal will occur at 2:10pm. Please refer to the district website.
