Good afternoon,
Next week will kick off our our PTO sponsored MJT spirit week! Here are the list of days below:
Monday: The Cat in the Hat Day! - Wear your favorite hat.
Tuesday: Froggy Plays Soccer Day! - Wear your favorite sports attire.
Wednesday: My Many Colored Days Day! - Wear as many colors as you can.
Thursday: Llama, Llama Red Pajama Day! - Wear your favorite pajamas.
Friday: If I Ran the Zoo Day! - Wear a shirt with an animal on it.
- Just a reminder that MJT and GES students DO HAVE school on Friday 3/8. Only the Junior/Senior High students are off.
- Second trimester report cards will be sent home in folders on Friday 3/15.
- Please be sure to dress your student in layers as the playground still gets very windy! Boots, hats, and gloves are still needed.
- 3/4 will be our next PBIS ceremony. Our word of the month for March is Honesty.
- 3/13 PTO meeting in the GES library. All are welcome and encouraged to join!
Limiting Screen Time
There continues to be quite a bit of buzz around screen time for children, specifically in regards to their own tablets and devices. Most primary level students have grown up with these being a normal part of their daily routines. Studies have proven that this can have negative effects on students behavior, sleep patterns, depression, and anxiety. It can often feel like a losing battle when trying to limit your child's exposure to screen time.
