HCS SALUTES OUR MILITARY FAMILIES
Next week we will be having some special recognitions for distinguished members of our student body. Our military students are very important to us and we look forward to celebrating their presence in our lives.
Attached below is the theme for each day next week!
(Military families: Make sure you fill out that Google Form I sent out earlier. Thank you!)
ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT OUR KITCHEN
Earlier this week, we had some refridgerator issues in our cafeteria. But thanks to the quick work of Mrs. Cornman, Mrs. Lowry, and Ms. Mamino (Great job!), lunches went off without a hitch.
With that, we are still closely monitoring our cooling systems over the weekend. It is possible that we will need to ask our students to bring a sack lunch on Monday. If we need for that to happen, I will send out a text ASAP.
Thank you for your understanding!
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS DAY - APRIL 24
Everyone should know the awesome job Mrs. Elmore has done for our school. Next Wednesday, if you have the opportunity, please stop by, shoot her an email or give her a call. She is an absolute vital part of our staff, a great, kind-hearted individual, a new GRANDMA, and just a wonderful person.
We are truly blessed to have Mrs. Elmore here!
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2ND GRADE!
AND GOOD LUCK TO OUR 8TH GRADE CONFIRMANDIES THIS EVENING.

OPEN POSITION FOR 24-25
There are many new happenings and improvements we are working on for next year. I have a list of those items I will be sharing in the next few weeks in our newsletter.
Some of those items need to be put on hold until some things "fall into place". One big item is the need for a math teacher at the middle school for next year. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please have them reach out to the school.
Thank you! (I Google searched images for "math positions" and that is what I got :) )

MASCOUTAH HOMECOMING - CALLING ALL HELPERS!!
It might be too soon to set up your lawn chairs along the parade route but it is not too soon to
volunteer for 2024 Mascoutah Homecoming und August Fest
Dear Holy Childhood School Families,
Every first full weekend of August, Holy Childhood Parish operates the Hamburger Stand at
our annual Mascoutah Homecoming. If you or your family has any interest in working this
year, please respond to the contacts below. This year Homecoming will be August 2-4.
Shifts are two hours long but oh so much fun. This is also a great opportunity for Confirmation
service hours for 8th Graders as well as a volunteer opportunity for any school group. Please
consider working more than one shift, preferably not back-to-back.
This is an initial plea for help. Scheduling shifts will be done in July. We have many that
volunteer every year and will want their same shifts. Please respond now and I will reach out
to you in July to schedule a spot for you!
Your help would be greatly appreciated!
