Good Morning E.L.M. Families,

Happy Friday! Today will be a half day of school with dismissal at 11:30am. Lunch will be served before students leave for the day. Next week will also be our April vacation, so next week's Friday newsletter will return on Friday, April 26th. We hope you all have a fun and restful break.

News, Updates & Reminders:

* We will be sending all winter gear home today. We highly recommend giving them a good washing before storing them away until next year. We play hard and get dirty up here in Savoy!

* Penny-A-Thon Update: Congratulations to the Gr. 3/4 classroom for coming in first place by collecting the most pennies. It was quite the competition with only a $3.58 difference between first and second place. Also, the total raised was fantastic, considering a snow day, which was $1,498.98! Again, on behalf of the PTG, we'd like to thank all families for participating and for your very generous donations. THANK YOU!

* The math MCAS testing will take place on Tuesday, May 7th and Wednesday, May 8th. We appreciate your efforts in scheduling doctor and dentist appointments outside of these days to allow students adequate time to complete their testing session.

* The registration form for the summer program at Clarksburg school is below. All information is contained within this form. If you have any questions, you may direct them to Mrs. Jordan Rennell at jrennell@nbsunion.com.

PTG Updates & Reminders:

* The Savoy Loop Race is now it the beginning stages of planning. The race will take place on Saturday, Sept. 7th.

Health & Safety:

* Permission slips were sent home this week for students in Gr. 4-6 to participate in the Human Development class with Nurse Kate. We appreciate having those forms returned as soon as possible. Thank you.
