PACK Guardians,

Just a reminder that students do not have school on Monday. This is the last nine weeks in the old Hubbard building and we are pushing solid instruction the entire time. Please remind your students to continue to give their best effort in class and to go to tutorials as needed!

FIELD DAYS! - We will be hosting some Olympic themed field days the last week of school at Tyler Legacy High School. How does a student earn the privilege to go? We need to just see GROWTH in their STAAR/iReady. Not all students will perform at the highest level, but everyone can show GROWTH!

PTA 7th Grade Social RESCHEDULED!!! This has been rescheduled to April 30th! Also, this event is free for students but if you're able to help cover costs, please make a $5, $10, or donation amount of choice on our Hubbard PTA Square Site. Thanks so much!

Solar Eclipse - Here is an awesome simulator that will let you know when to expect the eclipse in what areas. Yes, we are planning for the solar eclipse! We WILL have school on that day and due to a recent generous donation, we will have enough glasses for each student! We will prep all students ahead of time regarding safety procedures, but we do want them to have this experience. Please let us know if you have any concerns!

Yearbooks! - Your student should have already had a yearbook order form come through, BUT we know middle schoolers lose things. You can order ONLINE but must use the unique Hubbard ID code of 1210324.

Chromebook Pickup

Below is our Media Technology Specialist (MTS), Mr. Pino, displaying half of a computer that a student had. Luckily this was not one of the school issued Chromebooks! At the end of the year we will be picking up chromebooks from students and checking their functionality. Students are required to turn in a functioning chromebook AND charger or you may be hit with a fine.

New Building

The new media center is coming along nicely! We can't wait to move to the new building.

Church of the Pines

Every month the Church of the Pines shows support for us by dropping off a HUGE sheet cake. Thank you COTP!

Green Acres Baptist Church

GABC showed their support for the PACK by bringing by some delicious sister 2 sister cookies this week!

Georgia Newberry

This past week Gorgia Newberry had the opportunity to sing in front of a huge crowd including the Apache Belles. Not only that, Mrs. Orlowski was there to show some PACK support!
