In order to keep our drop off procedures safe and efficient please remember the following procedures

• If students arrive at 8:00 or later, please park in the parking lot and escort your student into Door #1 to be signed in. Late arrivals cannot park in the bus zone until after 8:15.

• Do not double park on Horne Street.

• Animals are wonderful companions and loving members of our families. However, when they are surrounded by 350 students, they may be overwhelmed and unpredictable. For our students' safety, do not bring your pets on school property.

Please mark your calendars and look for a volunteer signup coming for May 22nd.

We are in need of 12 parent volunteers for our Mini Monsters Program with the Chicago Bears to assist with the different stations that day. The event takes place on Friday, April 26th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Please click HERE to sign-up. A sign-up genius account is needed in order to sign-up. If the positions are already full and you would like to be placed on a wait list, please call Darlene Buffano at Richmond at (331) 228-5208 to be added. Thanks for making this day so fun for the kids!

1. Session One will be from 10-11:30 a.m. (4th grade, 3EH, 3MR & 3MG)
   

2. Session Two will be from 12-1:30 p.m. (5th grade, 3SS, 3LC & 3EN)

3. Volunteer spots do fill up fast, but we will allow for parent spectators again this year - we just ask that you check into the main office first and get a visitor badge the day of the event.

We will host a family literacy night on Thursday, April 25th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. We will have guest readers, therapy dogs, literacy stations and free books for our families. We really hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you there!

Attention Orchestra Families!

We are in the home stretch--summer is right around the corner! As you begin to fill up your summer with activities and vacations, you should consider our very own D303 Summer Strings Camp!

This camp will be for orchestra students who are currently in grades 3 - 8. Camp will be June 17,18, 20 and June 24, 25, 26 and 27 in the evenings at Thompson Middle School.
