For the next two weeks, our 3rd & 4th graders will be engaged in the Forward Exam. To help set our students up for success, we have adjusted our specials schedule as well as our lunch schedule to ensure they have uninterrupted testing time. Please note the altered lunch schedule below if you are planning on joining your student for lunch.

Tomorrow, information about our Mill Valley May Day Walk will be going home with students. Please read the letter with all the details and return the permission slip for your student to participate.

This fun activity will take place on Wednesday, May 1st.

Please join us on April 4th anytime between 5:30-7:00 PM at Bay Lane Elementary. When you arrive, be sure to grab a Student Bingo Card that will lead you and your child through our 4K classrooms. Each classroom will be open with a designated activity for students to participate in. During the open house, students and caregivers will have an opportunity to learn more about math, literacy, writing, fine motor, school readiness and social skills. It should take approximately 30-45 minutes to visit all the planned activities. There will be classroom teachers and administrators available to provide information and answer general questions you might have. More information regarding 4K and registration can be found on our district website.

The Great Northern American Eclipse on April 8, 2024, is a rare and unique event that will take place during school hours. To ensure the safety of our students and staff, the Muskego-Norway School District has decided to remain indoors (which includes class, lunch, and recess) during the peak hours of the eclipse, which will be from noon until 3:00 PM. Students will not be allowed to go outside to view the eclipse.

We understand that this might be disappointing for those who were looking forward to observing the eclipse outdoors. Our priority remains the safety of the students and by experiencing the eclipse digitally, we can ensure that everyone will be safe while watching the eclipse.

It’s “plane to see we have the best staff in the world!" This year's theme will be Traveling Around the World. Next week, your student will bring home a few papers to write about how 2 to 3 ADULT STAFF MEMBERS (one should be their teacher, the other 1 to 2 can be an aide/bus driver/lunch person/custodian/office staff/etc.) are the “best in the world." Please help them write/draw pictures and be creative. We will use these papers to create the “MV SKY Magazine” that will be given to staff on Monday 4/22 as part of their “carry on bag."

We will be decorating and setting up the school on 4/21 at 2:00pm. If you would like to help please use the sign up genius attached.

Save the Dates! The FREE Summer Movie Series community movie night is back! Muskego community families and friends are invited to come enjoy a movie on Muskego High School’s Inpro Athletic Field on the video scoreboard! The first movie in the series is Cars 3 on May 10th starting at 7:00 pm, followed by The Super Mario Bros Movie on June 13th, and wrapping up the summer with our teen night viewing of Miracle on August 8th! Bring your family, friends, and a blanket to enjoy these free events! Muskego Food Pantry donations will be accepted at the entrance gate!
